In connection with the M18 project progress meeting, on 23 February 2024, the partners visited the Bondeno site. This site has been selected as one of SoMMet's three high-level test field sites, see: TEST FIELD SITES. A combination of a cosmic-ray neutron sensing (CRNS) sensor and point-scale soil moisture sensors is being deployed by this site in an agricultural setting — a farm with walnut orchards — with a controlled drip irrigation system.
